Those that have taken Dr. Robert Jervis's intro class, International Politics, will understand what he meant when he characterized the Columbia University administration as "a black box." Dr. Jervis's realist metaphor is presented in the feature article of the latest issue of the Eye, the Spectator's weekly magazine. The article, "The Black Box", addresses the departure of Dean Moody-Adams and the veil of secrecy that surrounds Low Library.

The article is availble on the Eye's website.
