Séverine Autesserre, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Barnard College and a Member of the Saltzman Institute, was interviewed for the United Nations watchdog Global Policy Forum. The interview focuses on Dr. Autesserre's extensive research on the peacebuilding efforts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and on the book which came out of it, The Trouble with the Congo: Local Violence and the Failure of International Peacekeeping (Cambridge University Press, 2010).
