Comparative Defense Studies Program

The Comparative Defense Studies Program, directed by Senior Research Scholar Dr. Stephanie Neuman, is dedicated to comparative research on defense issues and peacekeeping throughout the world, with a focus on Third World security issues.  To this end, the program concentrates on collecting data, producing analytic studies, and sponsoring conferences and seminars.  Special emphasis is given to alternative concepts of peace and security.
